Damon Braces is a self-ligating braces developed by Dr. Dwight Damon with Ormco . By combining passive self-ligating brackets with high-tech archwires, the Damon System Braces is a mechanical system allowing low forces to work in together with the biogical facial muscles, bone and tissue with low forces.

Types of Damon Braces
Damon Braces
The original Damon and Damon Q braces are metal based self-ligating brackets with a unique clip mechanism in holding the archwire. Damon braces use a slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely, quickly and comfortably.
Damon 3 Braces
Damon3 consists of brackets that are half metal and half clear. Orthodontic treatment with Damon 3 braces are more aesthetics pleasing yet still following the main self-ligating braces concept that the original Damon braces utilizes.
Damon Clear Braces
Damon Clear braces combines the look and comfort for image-conscious patients with the strength and functionality. Cases for damon clear braces are however still selective.
